I never imagined I would engage in, find pleasure in, or even value online dating – yet, here I am, genuinely enjoying it 🤞🏾
To be honest, if it weren’t for the lockdown served by the Covid outbreak, I don’t know how long it would have taken me to venture into the world of online dating… I appreciate the push these times gave me towards what I now consider the good life 😎
I refer to the online dating scene as the ‘good life’ because, for me, it has proven to be just that for three simple reasons:
You Match With Only Who You Like
While this may appear insignificant at first glance, its significance is far from minor. It eliminates all the unnecessary complexities, ensuring that you engage only with those genuinely interested in you, and vice versa. In contrast, real-life often resembles a chaotic free-for-all 😩
You Initiate The Conversation
When a woman takes the initiative to start a conversation, it significantly shifts the dynamics. It closes the gap where actions occur without your consent, altering the game in a positive way 💯
You Both Decide On The Rules
What a concept – this idea alone challenges traditional gender roles within relationships. It emphasises that the responsibility for decision-making and determining the course of events isn’t solely assigned to the ‘man’ 💪🏾
I’m genuinely pleased to be an adult navigating the dating scene in the 21st century. I honestly don’t know if I would continue dating if it was a time before this because women were really not considered as humans. Not that we fully are now, but it’s a much better situation 🙃
Contemplating whether to delve into the intricate details of my online dating experiences, and I believe it’s time to share. Stay tuned for the forthcoming sequel to this blog post where I’ll spill all the beans…
How about you? Have you ventured into the realm of online dating, or would you consider giving it a try? 👂🏾
Yours – but mine first,

I can see how online dating can be a great way to meet people and enjoy communicating with others. I hope you continue to enjoy using it and finding it valuable—wishing you the best with it! I did some online dating many years ago before I met and married my husband so I don’t know what the new/modern apps and sites are like, but if you can make the best of it, I think that is great!
They absolutely are – did you meet your husband online?
Have you met someone?
