I never thought I would ever participate in, enjoy or even appreciate online dating – but I really do 🤞🏾
TBH I don’t know how long it would have taken me to join the online dating world if it wasn’t for Covid-19’s #Lockdown 🌚 I am so glad for the nudge it gave me to the good life 😎
I refer to the online dating scene as the ‘good life’ because it has proven to be just that for me, for these three simple reasons:
You Match With Only Who You Like
This can seem like such a minor thing, but it really isn’t. It cuts all of the BS because it means that you are given the opportunity to engage with only the people who are interested in you and vice-versa.
Real-life tends to be a free-for-all…
You Initiate The Conversation
The woman initiates conversation, guys this changes the game in that it closes that gap where things are done without your consent happen 🙌🏾
You Both Decide On The Rules
What a concept 🤯 Just this alone blurs gender specific roles, when it come to relationships – in that the ‘man’ isn’t the only one that decides whether anything happens or not, and how things should happen…
Basically, I am just really glad I am an adult who is dating in 2020 🙌🏾 I honestly don’t know if I would continue dating if it was a time before this because women were really not considered as humans. Not that we fully are now, but it’s a much better situation 🙃
Hmmm 🤔 I’m really considering whether or not I should give you the gory details of my online dating experience, and I think I should… I’m definitely spilling the beans on my sequel to this blogpost 💯
